I want to buy a recovery hook for my Ford Escape 2017 but my vehicle does not have a hole in the front bumper cover where to place this hook, as I can install it.

I have 2017 pull of bumper passenger side the bolt to put tow hook is there u need to drill whole in bumper

Has anybody else done this? What size whole dose it require? Do you have to remove the bumper or just drill from the front?

Yes I did it on my 2017. I eyeballed the location from the above photos and drilled a 1 1/16” hole. it worked perfectly. I drilled from the front and it was just one layer of plastic.
