wirie hanging under dash driver side

I have a wire hanging from under dash of driver side of my newly purchased 2004 I35 Infiniti. The wire has an on/off switch attached,does anyone know what the wire is for.

If it looks like a toggle switch is most likely a valet switch for an alarm it had at one point. It may also be a kill switch . Look at the car and see if you see a siren under the hood. If not check and see if there is neon lighting under the car. If everything is working good just fasten the switch out of the way
