Gauge lights in the dashboard went out but other lights work

Asked by xefo1000 Nov 10, 2020 at 12:16 AM about the 2004 INFINITI I35 FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

All of a sudden the lights of all gauges went out in the dashboard (instrument
cluster). However, other lights still work light check engine light, transmission P,
D, N, R lights, ABS and all other lights. I checked the switch that dims the
dashboard light and it is good. I checked the fuses. Replaced a bad tail bulb.
Still lights are not working.

Took a screenshot of a YouTube video that sounds like what you describe, screenshot shows name of video to make sure you are able to find the right one. Might be worth a look
