how reliable are infiniti g35

Asked by Dec 02, 2013 at 02:26 PM about the 2004 INFINITI G35 Coupe

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

1 Answer

375

Very reliable...other than fast brake wear and some reported electronic issues...these power-trains are built for the long hual, and are meant to be pushed. This engine is based on Nissan racing technology and is so tuned down that you really aren't getting close to its potential...so you can rev it all you want. I can say that my father owns a large salvage yard, and has had two of these 3.5L V6 engines - both low mileage - and is yet to sell one because no one out there needs an engine...they are that bulletproof!
