my 2000 ford ranger makes a beeping sound when i turn it off completely and i got hit by another car several days ago on the driver side door but nothing major could it be that?

no,i doubt it,only thing that i know of that beeps after shut down is a aftermarket radio,is yours factory or not.

yes the stereo is factory and the beeping sound comes like from the engine

its more like a buzzing sound actually

I would turn the key switch on get the noise humming raise hood and listen for where it is comeing from,it may be a relay going bad.
