Ford Ranger won't start.
On a normal days drive the Ranger
engine cut off (has a full tank). When you
crank, it starts for a few seconds and
dies (look no fuel is coming through).
Checked the fuel line and the tank pump
is working well but no fuel is going to the
Bought a new filter (complete) but the
problem is still the same.... Starts a few
seconds and dies.
What can the problem be.
Will greatly appreciate your help.
sending unit attached to the pump in the tank ? it runs a few secs from the prime the pump does when you hit the key , once it starts there should be power (and ground ) at the pump , your experience may differ
it may be a vacuum line has busted. Try to start it, then push on the accelerator. if it does not die until you release your foot, then its a vacuum line.
