The owner's manual is a very good tool for solving many vehicle operational issues. One must open it to learn from it.

I've been reading manual - 3x's on tailgate section. Still can't find inside latch. 2 diagrams in manual not helpful in locating latch.

Well thanks for your helpful insight "BOB" WHAT A GOOF. If you don't freakin know. Don't bother. I'm having the same problem and can't find a switch to open the tailgate.

Mark obviously doesn't own the car I have looked through the manual and can't find the answer. Maybe you cant open in from inside.
