2014 Mazda CX-5

I have 55k miles and this just started not
shutting off when In park.  Always happened
my husband drove but thought he was doing
something wrong.  We have to get Mazda to
fix this problem!

Sorry, everyone, it's a faulty shifter switch, and Mazda will only cover it if its within the warranty parameters. I paid $65 for the part online, and Mazda(Daytona Beach) did the work for roughly $80 labor. Frustrating because the bad switch wont allow the car to completely shut down. The engines turns off, but battery power is still on.

As a temporary solution you can just hold your shifter and push it to the left then touch the start engine button to turn off your car it works everytime and it's legit, you can do that until you take it to a garage and replace the part...
