lug nuts

Asked by Feb 21, 2016 at 07:34 PM about the 2000 Ford Mustang GT

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just bought some new lug nuts and I wanted to
know if putting new nut lugs could make your
steering wheel shake. Because after I put them on I
realized that after I passed 60 the steering wheel
shakes. It wasn't doing that with the ones it had
before.

As long as you purchased the right size and torqued them down to 90 ft lbs. you shouldn't have an issue. Did you swap wheels from front to back?
