i have a 2000 mustang v6, every time i take it to get a emissions check it gets failed because they say the computer is off and it needs to be driven before it can turn back on i've already driven it like 20 miles and it still getting failed. what do i do?

What they're talking about is the readiness monitors. They all have to be set for your car to pass. To get them to set keep your gas tank between 3/4 and 1/4 full. No more and no less. Drive normally for about one week. The go back to inspection. You'll be all set. HTH. -Jim
