I have a 1995 Hyundai accent and there is a plug sticking out the front. Does anyone know why it would be for?

If it is an electrical plug for 110 volts then it may have a block heater for cold weather, trace down the wire from the plug in, you will either come to a cylinderical device that will, have some heater hoses attached or it will go to a small device that has been placed in one of the freeze plug openings, both of those at block heaters, now if they still work is anybody's guess.

If it's not a block heater, it might be an accessory to turn you car into a toaster- that would be so cool!
