How do you install a new ingnition and make it work?

Asked by Nov 04, 2015 at 04:25 PM about the 2000 Ford Focus SE Wagon

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I bought a new ingnition switch for the vehicle, installed it and it will turn but will not start. Is this beacause of the anti-lock system & if it is, how can I resolve this matter?????

try this "trick' hold old and new keys together while starting ( plastic part of keys ) if that works then search 'reprogramming key" for your specific car instructions ( you need to have a way to start the car before you can copy your code into another key)
