transmission control module

Asked by Jun 11, 2009 at 07:28 PM about the 2001 Hyundai Elantra GT Hatchback FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The TCM is not able to put the CEL on directly it has the use the PCM to do so. It just means that that has happened :) .. A problem in the transmission somewhere where is is NOT bad enough to casue its own code but bad enough where it is letting the PCM controller know that emissions are going to be affected.
