CAR GOT ON FIRE WHILE DRIVING,WHY?

Hi,i have hyundai accent 2001 make GLS model,i bought it third-hand just to learn driving a better
way.i bought it in april 2012,its only engine condition and body was good,i had to spend lot money
for engine tuning and other specs.The cluth-plate was also damaged around 60%(told by mechanic)
i just got it to learn driving.but 2 days ago,i had kind of accident,while driving,in traffic at 10-
15KM/HR suddenly fire started to come from bonnet.so i stopped the car and pour water on
engine.now it’s in garage.the wiring is burnt,fuel pipe’s been severly damaged and bonnet’s colour is
also damaged.but alternetor, and engine parts are saved as i noticed the fire earlier and took action.
any idea,why this happened?

Don't drive the car. Have it towed to an authorized dealer and have the problem identified and repaired.
