Check out the website car complaints.com. Enter the vehicle information and see what pops up. Regular consumers, like you and I, report problems with vehicles they own so others can make informed purchasing decisions. From a personal standpoint, a lady at work has owned several Ford Focuses over the years. She leases them. I can't remember her ever complaining about any of them. Or being without her car because it was in the shop.If buying used get a carfax or other vehicle history report. Look for a one owner vehicle with no more than 10,000 miles per year on it. Example: a 2010 with 30,000 or so miles on it is a good buy. A 2010 with 40,000 or 50,000 miles on it, not so much. As with any used car as about an extended warranty and do your homework. HTH. -Jim
