Turning late

turning late??? or returning late??? need MORE INFO

Today I was coming home from work and everything was fine until I had to make the last two turns to my house which happen to be left turns. The road is/was slightly wet but I know my tires couldn't be the problem for they are not that old and I've driven through the rain before with them on. I will turn left like any other left turn at slower speeds and all it does is go straight a bit then jerk hard left after the steering wheel is turned. Why is this happening and how can I make sure it doesn't happen again?

Sorry new to this site I messed up the first time

Rack and pinion shot

Ok that would be joining along with it the ball joint? Because it doesn't do it on the right

Does it do the same thing on dry pavement? If not the wet pavement is likely causing the issue.

No sir Bob this is the first time but the street was relatively dry at the time it happened.

Slightly damp sometimes is much more slick than really wet due to oils on the pavement not being washed away. Maybe check the belt running the power steering to see if it is getting oil or other liquid on it causing it to slip.

I can check but it was working fine all the way till those turns which has never ever happened in the nine years I've had it
