2002 hyundai sonata v6 gls wont start?
So originally my car wouldnt start at all, no
clicking, no trying to turn over but my lights
and radio and everything still worked fine.
So then it eventually started up again on its
own and i went to take it for an oil change
and it wouldnt start again, the mechanics at
the place i went to said they hit my starter
with a hammer and thats how they got the
car running again, it ran fine after that the 5
or 6 times i used it to go places, i bought a
brand new starter that night, got it put in
and everything but now instead of doing
nothing, it sounds like its trying to start. I
also have a pretty bad fuel leak and a hole
in my exhaust, i just need to figure out
whatd making it not start.
If you have a fuel leak, and can smell gasoline in the cabin or outside the car do not drive it. The risk of fire is not worth it. The car can be replaced. YOU can not be. Sorry I don't have a solution to the problem.
If you have a fuel leak you won't have the fuel pressure to charge the injectors. Your car will not start. Fix the leak and then you should be ok.
