2006 Mercedes R350 & R500 4matic

Hello guys, im interested in purchasing either a
2006 R350 or R500. I wanted to know if its worth
the buy. The R350 has 78k  miles and the R500 had
106k miles.  Besides the basic maintenance of the
vehicle (most work i can do). Is there any major
engine/transmission failures i may need to know
about beforing buying one of these? Your help
would be GREATLY appreciated.

We may be selling a 2012 R350 fully loaded that currently has 66K miles on it and some time and miles left on an extended warranty. Reach via contact12u2016@gmail.com

Own a 2011 R350 Blu Tec. At 71,000 miles (just after warranty) the timing chain went out. Tons of money to fix that. I find the maintenance on the R350 has been excessive, not like my previous two MB's. I do love the car. Dream to drive. Hauls six easily, can put the back seats down and stow my bike. Mileage is great.
