2005 Tuscon has trouble starting only after filling with gasoline?

Asked by Dec 26, 2014 at 08:25 PM about the 2005 Hyundai Tucson GL 2WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Sounds like the purge valve for the EVAP system is stuck open. When this happens gasoline fumes and in some cases raw gasoline gets forced into the engine. This floods the engine and makes it hard to start after filling up. HTH. -Jim
