"04" Pontiac Aztec, has new brake pads and shoes but the brake light stays on. Can the wheel speed sensors have any thing to do with it

Asked by Jan 22, 2016 at 11:50 PM about the 2004 Pontiac Aztek GT

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Possibly. But first make sure the emergency brake is fully released. Make sure you aren't low on brake fluid in the master cylinder. If these check out ok then it's time to start looking at the ABS sensors and the pump and modulator assembly. HTH. -Jim
