Where do i find the lock combination?

I just got a 2000 Ford Explorer 4wd and want to set my lock code. But i dont know where
to find it, when i got it, the dealership did not give me a owners manual. Thanks for any
help.

If you didn't get a manual then your best bet is to got the Ford dealer and they can pull it from the ECM, resetting can be a bit tricky without an owners manual, there may be one available on line for download. Might be worth while to check.

I find it after I open the cover n the back and dusted off all the dust.

I needed to get mine, too. For a suggestion, rather than pulling the whole box out to see the letters/numbers, I just snapped a picture with my cell phone. That way, I had it access to it, and could zoom in to actually read it. Yes, I do have bifocals! LOL!!! Hope that helps!
