Where do i find the lock combination?
I just got a 2000 Ford Explorer 4wd and want to set my lock code. But i dont know where
to find it, when i got it, the dealership did not give me a owners manual. Thanks for any
If you didn't get a manual then your best bet is to got the Ford dealer and they can pull it from the ECM, resetting can be a bit tricky without an owners manual, there may be one available on line for download. Might be worth while to check.
BEHIND DRIVER DOOR PANEL OR RIGHT SIDE REAR TRIM PANEL LOOK AT PASS SIDE REAR DOOR OPENING AND PULL REAR TRIM OUT THERE
Lol at the website name
I find it after I open the cover n the back and dusted off all the dust.
I needed to get mine, too. For a suggestion, rather than pulling the whole box out to see the letters/numbers, I just snapped a picture with my cell phone. That way, I had it access to it, and could zoom in to actually read it. Yes, I do have bifocals! LOL!!! Hope that helps!
