my engine dies out, shuts down total when I let up on gas pedal. I have been told it may be maybe the fuel injectors. 1991 Honda civic 303,350 miles on it.

Could be. Does is drive fine other than going dead at an idle?

If drives fine other than going dead at an idle its probably your throttle body needs cleaning, idle air control valve needs cleaning or replaced or possibly a vacuum leak.

yes it runs as good as ever when I accelerate, it dies when I was letting it warm up and slowing down to make a turn from a busy highway, just went dead.

Ok. First I would listen under the hood for a hissing sound around the throttle body or intake area. Inspect vacuum hoses if leak found replace the hose. If no hissing heard I would then get some throttle body cleaner. Spray on rag and clean the inside of the throttle body and throttle plate area. Also locate the idle air control valve remove it and clean it also.

ok , I was thinking the fuel injectors would not allow it to accelerate forward, like I said when it goes it goes good and smooth on speed.

ok I will do that first, there is no hissing sound under hood, I will look again for leaks, etc. clean & replace idle air control valve. thank you!!!! I have the d15b2 engine, it has been a great car& engine, I am only owner & driver, the clutch finally went out at 297,000 miles. I just cannot give it up yet !!!!
