My car shuts off-- why?

Asked by Dec 02, 2015 at 07:43 PM about the 1992 Honda Accord LX

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

A few times aweek, my Accord just stop running.
If I wait 10--15 minutes, it starts right up again.
What could be wrong?

You have described an ignition module failure, try pricing it as a complete distributor vs just the module unit, it might be cheaper to replace the whole distributor as a unit. HTH
