I have a 92 Honda Accord ex with 220k miles. The problem in having is when I go to turn my car in and try to put it in drive it won't come out of park. Any help with the issue

Not sure about that because the car is so old but does it have one of those brake sensors like newer vehicles do? Otherwise, I would suspect that your shifting linkage is worn out. You will have to crawl under the car and look. Have a buddy come over and help you out as far as moving the shifter and have him/her wiggle it so you where it is located. Check for wear.

some models have something called a shift position switch that can wear out. you will have to google it though. it can cause this same problem.

First make sure the cars in not parked at an angle to the front or back putting too much pressure on the parking pawl inside the tranny that would keep it locked in gear. Also, did you try the key release slot next to the shifter lever to see if that would release it?
