when accelerating in my car it starts to go then it will start to like sputter as if it wont shift or the gas isnt flowing in properly somewere. it does this on all gears when im in 3 gear and going about 40 mph it starts to want to jerk any ideas will help

Check your fuel filter,if ok,check plugs and wire,s.

some cars have fuel filters that are hard to locate, they stick them in the fuel tank,hide them in the wheel well,sometimes you have to get a shop manual reference (and those are hard to find) ; hopefully you will be able to say----I FOUND YOU.
