Car not starting

Asked by Clueless0718 Jul 20, 2018 at 09:56 PM about the 2016 Nissan Altima 2.5 SR

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My battery is great. I press the start button
(2016 Nissan Altima) and all I hear is "click".
Press a 2nd time and hear "click", followed
by a rapid succession of "clicks". No warning
lights, no check engine light. Request
suggestions, Thank you.

My car is doing something similar. We just got a 2016 Nissan Altima and every once in a while it won’t start. All the interior lights come on and it just clicks once when you go to start it. So we had battery checked and it was fine. Hooked it back up later and car cranked right up. It’s done this three times since last Friday. It’s at the shop now. But everytime it didn’t crank we just Unhook the battery terminals for about 15 min then reconnect and it starts. Very annoying. The day before this problem started the car said no key or incorrect KeyID so we replaced the battery and the problem still persists .

Felicia I'm facing the same problem. Did you get to know what the problem was? Has it been fixed? This is so scary for me because I don't know when my car would not start.
