I'm looking to buy a 93 Prelude with 115000 miles on it. What repairs should I expect on so old a car, even with low miles? My last Prelude had a transmission failure. Is that due mostly to mileage?

Transmissions last between 100-200k before needing rebuilding or replacement. Changing the fluids at regular intervals will increase the time. But servicing a '93 Honda is like any other older used car. Probably due for suspension upgrades, but drive the car and replace and repair as necessary. Change the fluids and filters and check the spark plugs, brakes and tires. Any leaks, fix those right away.
