My car shifts weird. My car is an automatic, and when it goes into third it jolts forward, and takes a really long time to go into fourth gear, I took it to a mechanic and he said it wasn't the tranny

He said it might be the detent cable,
but I want to know if anyone knows if
it's normal for Hondas to shift that
way, I got a couple of mechanics to
look at who know Hondas, but I want
to know if it's possible to make that
jolt go down a bit? If there's anyway?

1 Answer

Drain and refill the transmission with only Honda ATF 4 times - they only drain out 2 qts yet hold over 6.
