trying to figure out what distributor goes in my civic when i brought it it did not have one in it and its not the original motor

what is the engine you have? there is a stamp to the left of the header below the head on the left side of the engine. a dx engine is a d15b7 most people swap in a d16z6 or d16y8 unless the person went b series. let me know
