I had to detach my head to remove a bolt from my cylinder (a separate
long, embarrassing story). We plugged everything back in and after I had
driven a couple miles, I noticed that my tachometer and temp gauge were
jumping around and it seemed like my engine was getting intermittent fuel.
Another half mile and the speedometer starts going funky as well. As I
exited the freeway, the car stalled and wouldn't start again. The engine
was really hot, but everything seemed to be in order. To my recollection,
this car was running normally before this. The guy I was working with
suggested we might have missed a ground wire reconnecting everything. I
can confirm there is a ground attached to the motor mount, valve cover,
and throttle body. Are there any other grounds that we would have
disconnected that I didn't list here? If it isn't a grounding issue, what might
be causing this?
