I bought a used 200 Ford Expedition and do not have the remote. The rear window/hatch will not open or unlock even with the power lock button inside. What could be the problem and how do I fix it?
I bought a used 2000 Ford Expedition Sport and do not have the remote it has power
windows and locks. The rear window/hatch
will not open or unlock even with the power lock button inside. Also the driver side power
window will not work up or down. How do I
fix or correct the problems?
Sounds like you have multiple issues. The not opening of the hatch might be a faulty actuator or the wiring is bad. You will need to remove the inner hatch panel to access it. The driver side might be a bad motor. Take a trip to the dealer and procure a couple key fobs as wells.
How can I tell if its the actuator for the back hatch door and not a bad fuse? Is there a way to check?
How difficult is it to replace the window motor on the driver side door?
