Sounds like you have multiple issues. The not opening of the hatch might be a faulty actuator or the wiring is bad. You will need to remove the inner hatch panel to access it. The driver side might be a bad motor. Take a trip to the dealer and procure a couple key fobs as wells.

How can I tell if its the actuator for the back hatch door and not a bad fuse? Is there a way to check?

How difficult is it to replace the window motor on the driver side door?
