I recently had my front brakes installed on my truck now the brake light stays on while i'm driving. Why is that? How serious is this problem?

If the brake light is on, you might just be low on fluid. Look at the brake fluid resevoir to see if the fluid is at the MAX line.

Make sure you don't have a leak, or did the person performing the brake job just forget to add the fluid. Doh!

yeah, he definitely forgot to look. i put brake fluid in and light went off, i'll check again this week to see if fluid is running out.
