I took my 2000 Ford Expedition in to Jiffy Lube for an oil change, they knocked a vacuum hose off. Where do I begin to look for it?

Look for it coming out of the firewall just slightly off center of the engine, I can't even think why they would even be in that area doing just and oil change. But you are headed in the right direction, a vacuum loss will cause your exact problem. The only thing that has me confused is that the heater system works fine until you accelerate, it is possible that the line is fractured and not disconnected or you have a leak someplace else. HTH

The vacumn canister is located behind the battery on the fender well side and has lines that run along and under the starter solenoid. The battery acid can cause the lines to break down and leak around there also.
