Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just bought a used 95 Honda Civic LX and im a
new driver so this is my first car. But i checked the
oil and it is really black and very low. I was
wondering can i just buy new oil and put it in or
should i get an oil change....i have no money to my
name and i need my car to run so i can go to
work...plz can some i help me

1 Answer

I suggest you change the oil.. ($20 buys oil and a filter) but adding new oil to the dirty oil is still better than running with a low oil level.
