car stalls out

check engine light come on and car starts to miss fire and stall while driving. but is able
to restart and drive a little ways then does it again

Next step is to have the car scanned for the codes. Drive it over to a local auto parts store and ask them to scan your car, should be free. Post the 4 digit codes back here.

only problem is that it has no computer to plug into

change the distributor and the relay ran good for week and start all over again. took it back to tech 4 times couldn't figure it out. now at another shop had it for 3 days they can't figure it out said it is running good. but after a week it goes back to stalling out.
