I have a 2000 Ford Expedition that was fine then it just died going down the road. The vehicle just cranks but will not start. The theft light is flashing. I unhooked the battery and performed the theft system reset which seemed to work. It will now start but runs terrible, no instrument cluster and no communication at obd port. I have checked the fuses and relays. Possible PCM issue?

B-4 going through that expense check these 2-steps. 1st see if you have any fuel at the Fuel Rail. 2nd Check to see how much Fuel Pressure your Vehicle needs, then hook up a Gauge to see what Pressure you have. Discount, Napa any parts place will have it. Hope this will help you ot. Happy New Year! M.W.

I have fuel I checked that already I can smell the fuel pumping to the motor-that wouldn't explain the instrument cluster not working and the no communication with the obd?
