Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My truck is not accelerating. I put my truck in drive
and it goes no where. Feel like it's about to cut off. I
press the gas pedal and no movement. When I
press my gas pedal while in drive it feels like it has
no power.  My truck has been sitting for two days.

That sounds expensive, like a transmission has gone out.

Check the trans fluids level, color and smell if it is low fill to specs, if it is dark and smells burnt the tranny is toast, if the fluid is a bright red then it could be a failed solenoid pack. Safest thing to do would be to have to towed to a tranny shop you trust and have it thoroughly checked out.
