Start by having it scanned for any stored trouble codes, may have some as intermittent, hisory or pending. If none are stored (not all codes will trigger the engine light) need to go the old fashioned route by searching for the cause. I would start with the relays up under the dash around the glove box area that control fuel flow and starting.
