How do i remove and replace the rear windshield on my 2000 ford excursion. 2WD 5.4. Going to pick n pull tomorrow. Need to know how to properly remove glass without damaging it.

My rear liftgate glass on my 2000 excursion broke this morning. I was able to remove the remnants but tomorrow im going to the junkyard to get another one, and I need to know how to remove the new one without shattering it in the process. And also how to install the new one

cant you find a yard that will remove one? although their quite strong and durable at room temps. andwhile your sawing with a glass sawing cable that usually needs another hand on the other end, or slashing with a butchers knife, removing garnish molding, in cold weather this seal is tough to cut. don't know about rear but front windshields are usually only ten or so dollars more than used
