need to know how to check for manifold gasket leaks

I use a spray bottle of water set on stream, when the engine stumbles, there's your leak. Some Techs use gasoline or some spray carb cleaner, but one stray spark and you have set the thing on fire.

That would be me, always used carb cleaner and listen for the rpm's to go up, never thought of using water spray, good idea.


water spray is genius, I have used carb cleaner, but only on a cold engine.
