Anti theft program

Asked by Sep 03, 2016 at 09:17 PM about the 2000 Ford Excursion Limited

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Panic alarm keeps going off everytime door is
opened. Tried disconnecting battery, but keeps
turning back on each time I connect it again.

1 Answer

Have you tried the disarm procedure listed in the owners manual? Fords security system instantly arms itself if the voltage is lost, so the alarm goes off when the power is reconnected.
