Should i buy a 2010 Subaru Legacy with 160000 miles?
The vehicle has anew transmission and timingbelt

The new transmission and timing belt might make this car seem attractive, but Subaru's seem to have engines that don't last as long as moor reliable brands. This car might be at its limit. If the price is low enough to allow for a big engine repair in the near future, it might be worthwhile, but I'd skip the headaches.

Most head gasket issues had been solved by 2010. The transmissions last just about forever when taken care of which makes me wonder if your car has been neglected. Have a Subaru mechanic give it a once over before buying,
