what would cause the radio and lighter to stop working the anti theft light is still working

These two devices are on separate circuits (2 different fuses). Just to verify you have 12vdc, I would use a meter to make sure there is 12volts present on the line (battery) side at the fuse block. Assuming the wiring is good to the radio and cigarette lighter and If you're sure the fuses are good, that would tell me there is possibly a common chassis ground issue. Losing the reference to ground will make these two things not work.

The root of the problem was when wiring day running lights through my front fog lights. I shorted the fuse for them . I replaced that fuse and they were working again. It was the following day I noticed the radio wasn't working. I have checked fuse 9 (15amps) for the cigarette lighter and it is ok. I've checked all the fuses in the interior fuse box and also the engine bay fuse box . ????

Someone had to give me a jump today and they hooked the cables up wrong on their car. Now my radio and lighter won't work. Any ideas

I have a 2002 honda accord that my lower brake lights aint working. And my brake lamp light flashes when brake is pressed for like 4 times and than it stays on. Check fuse 20amps in bay and its good. Check bulbs and brake switch and put new. And still nothing
