can i put a 94 honda accord motor in a 97 honda accord
It isn't as easy as giving a step by step instruction. Mechanic's get paid for years of training. If your interested in swapping motors, find a friend who has done it before and or do your research. A service manual can help too. You'll need tools and know how to put everything back together and maybe some new parts. Mechanical, electrical is all involved. I'd join a Honda Accord forum and hang around the site reading and asking questions. Hope this helps.
No, 1994 is OBD I and 1997 is OBD II. The oldest you can go here without major issues is 1996 (the first year for OBD II). HTH. -Jim
I have a 94 in my 97 and hooked up to my 97 ecu the only problem I have is the ecu is showing my car is misfiring when it's not and I have the 94 ecu and o ordered a 0b1 to ob2 harness but one of the harness connecters won't hook for it so the car won't go in to gear and will accelerate real slow and get up to speed so my 97 ecu Is still hooked up until I figure away around that
