smell gas car runs rough but no leak

car runs rough but when it gets going it does fine smell gas  and has no gas leaks
recently replaced spark plugs wires and valve cover gasket

The leak may be a weep and should be checked immediately, DO NOT park in a garage until the problem is fixed. The steel fuel lines have a tendency to rust and leak around mounting tabs.
