i am having a similar issue the battery, emergency brake and door lights are on and the car starts and runs fine i had my battery replaced a few months ago is there a simple fix for this? or do i need to take this to a mechanic to get it checked out? thanks for the help
I have the same thing going on with my car, what did you do to fix it?
I have the same problem, what did you do?
sounds like a short in a wire. this can be hard to find could be anywhere. could simply be dirty grounds or bad connections on main poer wires.
in this order: 1. check battery connections, especially the positive wire/negative too; 2. ground; 3.ground; 4. ground; 5. alternator belt must be tight 6. alternator connections/sockets 7. alternator 8. use light tester for possible power drain from dome light, truck light and lastly 9. shorts.
