my 2008 vw jetta 2.5 red parking brake light on dash flashes and beeps 3 times

Just in the last couple of days my parking brake light beeps 3 times and then flashes,the weather is not that cold here in south jersey so Im thinking its something else from what I have of the owners manual its saying that its a warning it only does it while Im moving.

Try releasing the parking break, and make sure that it is all the way in home position. May have inadvertently set it, touch it, moved it toward the breaking side.

same thing with my 2007 vw jetta but the brake is all the way down i thought the brake fluid was low so i putted fluid still the brake light and beeping wont go 3 time it beep while i drive did anyone find any answer to this?
