Car doesn't seem to ne getting fuel when starting. The starter turns over and have plenty of power getting to the car.. If I pump the gas pedal or hold it down when I try to start it, will start
Once it is running it is almost like its choking out
and the check engine light will flash for a bit
then the car runs OK... Any ideas?
Start by replacing the fuel filter. Pull the check engine codes and go from there.
It could be a few things but you can start with these steps...Pull out each of your ignition packs one at a time and inspect for damage like cracks. You might as well pull out your spark plugs as well and inspect them as well.
That one has a distributor, sorry. try watching this video it may help.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P-OAnREXdCY
