Cleaning the engine.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I would like to be able to clean out the carbon build (if any at all) and any other deposits. I have heard a lot
of doubts with some of the engine cleaners and fuel system additives. The number one thing I have heard
of is Seafoam but then there are people saying not to do it...., so what is the opinion of people that actually
know Ford's?

My opinion is to only use it in your fuel system. I don't see any real benefit of using it in the upper part of your engine and possible causing some issues. Keep your car tuned up and running in tip top shape.
