Should I get it?

Asked by Mar 04, 2016 at 01:59 AM about the 2006 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Base Extended Cab 4WD Short Bed

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

Their's a 1500 lifted 06 Chevy Silverado
with 126,360 and there asking for $15,777.
I'm debating if that's a good deal for it.
What would you do??

1. get a mechanic to check it 2. Get a carfax

That sounds a high for that amount of miles, something like that out my way would be around 10 grand depending on equipment. If your still considering it then do what was stated above. And if they do find something wrong and you still want the rig then you have a bargaining chip. HTH

1/2 ton transmissions/smaller rear ends typically don't hold up well with the extra strain of a lift, so i would personally steer clear unless they offer a waranty with it... imo
